Math 3 Updates
3rd grade will continue in the unit on fractions. Learners will improving skills in using a number line to label and compare fractions. We will create a flipbook of fraction strips as well. Learners understand fractions are parts of a whole and now can extend this concept to multiple wholes. For example, if 4/4 is equal to 1, 8/4 is equal to 2. Learners can apply their knowledge of multiplication to fractions in this way.
