3rd Grade humanities
This week, learners will type their restaurant menus that they created in Math. Many of the restaurants are very creative and are filled with many delicious foods. They are really excited to discuss ingredients, design, and even what type of deals they will offer!.
Towards the end of the week, learners will write their last persuasive piece of writing. They will use all of the skills learned throughout the year to persuade their friends, family, and facilitators to visit their restaurant. We will also begin reading a new book titled The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davis.. The narrative follows the arc of two characters' business endeavors, from inception to realization to dissolution, with all the ups and downs along the way. This book will be a great addition to our restaurant unit.
